What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work efficiently and to provide information to site owners.
How we use cookies
The Cluevo marketing website (cluevo.app) does not set any tracking cookies unless you accept analytics in the cookie banner. If you decline, or do not answer, no analytics script is loaded. The Cluevo admin console uses session cookies necessary to maintain your authenticated session. The Cluevo mobile app is not a website and does not use cookies — Firebase Authentication stores a token in secure device storage instead.
Types of cookies and storage we use
Strictly necessary — Session tokens for the admin console, and browser localStorage on the marketing site remembering your theme choice (light / dark / system) and whether you've cleared the launch gate. These cannot be disabled without breaking the site.
Analytics (optional, only with your consent) — Google Analytics 4 measures which pages and buttons help visitors (for example page views and clicks on enquiry buttons). It is loaded only after you click Accept, uses IP anonymisation, and sets cookies such as _ga. We never send names, email addresses or form contents to analytics. You can change your choice at any time with “Cookie settings” in the site footer or by clearing site data.
Remembered choice — your analytics choice is kept in browser localStorage (cluevo.consent.analytics).
No advertising or tracking cookies — We do not use cookies for advertising, retargeting, or cross-site tracking.
Currently active third-party cookies
Cluevo does not load advertising scripts. Google Analytics (Google LLC) is loaded only if you accept analytics. Cloudflare Turnstile (Cloudflare, Inc.) may load on enquiry forms to stop automated spam; it runs only where a form is shown and is used for security, not tracking. We will update this policy if that changes.
Managing cookies and storage
You can control and delete cookies and site data through your browser settings. Disabling strictly necessary cookies may affect the functionality of the admin console. Browser-specific guidance:
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
- Safari: Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data
- Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions
Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy when we introduce new tools or technologies. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
